- David Seletyn
David Seletyn is the Colleague Trainer at Dendrite International’s
help desk in Chesapeake, VA. As such, he is responsible for managing
the new training process and the training and development of current
team members. David earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from
James Madison University. He is also a certified instructor for Help
Desk International. He currently lives with his wife in the historic
Park View neighborhood of Portsmouth, VA.
Past
President—Ron Chapman
Ron Chapman is the Executive Director of VQI, Inc, a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing workforce training and consulting services to
regional organizations. Ron has a B.A. from Penn State University, speaks
conversational German and has traveled extensively in Europe . He has
been a member of ASTD for five years and is also a member of the National
Speakers Association. Ron lives in Hampton with his wife and their two
children.

President of Membership - David Adams
David Adams is the Career and Professional Development Training
Administrator for Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding.
David graduated from St. Leo University majoring in Technology
Management with a minor in Human Resource Development. He also
participated in the pilot program for ASTD’s CPLP certification,
in April of 2006. David lives in Newport News with his wife, Lisa.
They have three adult children. David’s primary hobby is
playing guitar in a Contemporary Christian band.

President of Communication - Robin McCullough
Robin McCullough is a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton
for Instructional Systems Design and Strategic Communications and
Co-Lead of the office-wide Training Community of Practice. She
has a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology from American
Intercontinental University and a Bachelor's of English in Secondary
Education from Old Dominion University. Robin also plays violin
for Symphonicity, the Virginia Beach Symphony. She lives in Chesapeake
with her husband and son.

President of Professional Development - Ken Coody
Ken Coody is the Training Manager for the Hampton Roads
Transportation Management Center (TMC). He has earned two
Master’s degrees, one in Public Administration, specializing
in Personnel Management and one in Education, specializing
in Instructional Design. He has been a member of ASTD
for two years. Ken lives in Virginia Beach with his
wife and between the two of them they have 6 children and
almost 7 grandchildren who all live in the Hampton Roads
area.

President of Marketing - David Boisselle
David Boisselle is employed as Chief, Support Division, J3/4
Directorate, at United States Joint Forces Command in Norfolk.
He graduated from Golden Gate University with a Bachelor of
Science in Business Management from Troy State University with
a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and from TROY
University with a Master of Science in Education. David is
an Adjunct Professor of Human Resources Administration for
Saint Leo University and recently certified as a Dale Carnegie
Trainer. He and his wife Mely live in Williamsburg. They
are the proud parents of two grown children, John and Meaghan.

President of Certification Programs - Lynda Stafford
Lynda is an adjunct faculty for both Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University and Tidewater Community College. She received an
MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University
of Baltimore and a BA in Psychology at the State University
of New York at Geneseo. She has received both the ASTD CPLP
certification as well as the Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Lynda resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband
and son. She enjoys spending time with family, exercising,
and taking naps.

President of Finance – Tara Copeland
Tara Copeland has been invited to join our SEVA ASTD Board
as VP of Finance. Tara is an Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton
as an Instructional Systems Designer on the Global Security
Team. She currently is site lead for the Center for Naval
Intelligence Integrated Learning Environment Conversion Project
at Dam Neck Base in Virginia Beach. Tara has a Master’s
of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Design from
National Louis University and a Bachelor’s of Science
in Secondary Education Mathematics from Florida State University. She
is a member of ASTD and the BAH office-wide Training, Education,
and Performance Support Community of Practice. Outside of
her very busy work life, Tara is also the Head Coach of West
Kempsville Association Pre-teen Fast Pitch Softball Lady
Bandits and lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, two
children, and three “furkids”. Please welcome
